Arts & Culture

Culture and the arts are as much a part of Prescott as its beautiful tree-lined streets, its stunning homes and its fantastic communities. Whether you’re browsing the city’s expansive library or enjoying the Phippen Western Art Show, you can’t help but notice that Prescott’s character isn’t just skin deep.

No matter what time of year it is, Prescott offers something to delight the senses and enhance the spirit.

Summer heralds in the Bluegrass Festival, where you can hear Bluegrass the way it was meant to be heard.  This time of year also welcomes the Sharlot Hall Folk Arts Fair and Territorial Days. During this time, arts and crafts are abundant throughout the community, as is entertainment.

With Fall comes the Mountain Artists’ Guild Arts and Craft Show and of course, the fabulous "Taste of Prescott."

Then comes winter, and Prescott residents eagerly anticipate the Christmas parade and the Courthouse Lighting, along with approximately 80 other area events that make this time of year busy and bright.

As Prescott welcomes Spring, the calendar features many area events, and residents enjoy walking through the scenic areas of town and watching the mature shade trees bloom back to life.
